This is the sample page and TWO pages of helpful instruction on bevel and emboss. Please note: on the sample page I have exaggerated the effects to help beginners to see the differences between subtle and not-so-subtle! And I forgot to mention in the instructions that the white outline pattern in the corner is an outer bevel with a green shadow. Enjoy the challenge!

I've never used material depth before; I've always used the fx Filter Effects, so that will be something new I've learned straight away.
