Made By

This is my Father in Law Roland John Albert Mehew. He joined the Royal Navy in 1932 at the tender age of 16 he served until 1946, he was on HMS Tenby, Valorous & was Petty Officer on HMS Bedouin. He spent the war years off the coast of Norway and South America and he loved telling us about the time he was on the China Sea and the weather was so foul they were being hit by hailstones the size of golf balls. He was a proud man and he loved his life as a sailor and was proud to have served his country.

I agree with all the comments. I'm married to an ex-Navy man myself so can really appreciate this page. These old mariners need to be remembered and their stories never forgotten. A wonderful page indeed.
