I've made this page with the award I received from Harleygirl and Nannyanne this week - it's designed for vintage pictures and I thought that these elements would suit one of the men in my family. So here is a picture - only recently discovered - of my great grandfather, William Salthouse, the son of a Cheshire shoemaker, he moved to Liverpool where he was first a policeman and then a businessman. As he also received an award - for bravery and courage whilst on duty as a Liverpool police constable, I thought that he really was the most perfect of my ancestors to share this lovely gift with me.

what a distinguished gentleman your great grandfather was, and what a super page you have made for him. This kit just suits your work down to the ground. What a lovely story about his bravery too. I have just realised he died the same year as my dad was born. Lovely page again from you Hils.....really well done
