I'm in 'card mode' today as I have a few to catch up on! This is a very simple sympathy for a friend who recently lost her father...the verse inside I think is really quite beautiful and 'suits' my friend (and her relationship with her Dad!) very well. I like to make hybrid cards so start off with a little printing from CA and then do a bit of real 'cut & paste' to the finish the card. ☺ The dotty line here showing the flight of the butterfly (spirit) from the heart is a simple brush that I made from a black dot Png. The heart is cut from a page of an old Welsh family bible ( an embellishment from my freebie Magni-fyle kit in fact). The butterfly is a lovely punch that I have just scanned in (the one that I have stuck to the finished card)....used the 'Insert' > 'Photo' > 'Twain' > 'Acquire' root for works well! Then just cut the butterfly in half and added a shadow to each half.
