Made By

My 'In a Word' challenge page is made using basically 2 photos that I took on a nature walk back in 2010 with just a few embellishments from 'Kicking the Leaves' and 'Rambling' kits- DaisyTrail and the border is a CA2 'Rope brush'. There is a background paper and then on top of that I added one copy of the lake photo which has had a 'Plasma' transparency applied. Another copy I gave the 'Threshold' filter and then took away the white, recoloured the black bits of the photo that were left with a colour picked from the leaves of the Robin photo, also applied a shadow. Made another copy of the lake photo and cut the word 'Natural out of it, applied a shadow. Took the photo of the robin (which originally had a bluish background), into the Photolab and used the CSO filter to take out the background, added a shadow to what was left. Used the 'Depth slider' to arrange all the various bits and bobs on the page.

Fantastic page, so much work! The corners of your rope are so perfect, perhaps a little brush lesson on Digifiddle could be arranged! Is it a quick shape that you add the rope brush to? Your title cut out of the picture is really good too.
