I am stuck on how to create a template for the cutting lines and the artwork boundry lines to serve as a guideline ......does anyone know how to create a template so that several buttons could be on one page.....I did create a letter size page with 4 rows and 3 colums of the correct size of circles but it saved it as a scrapbook page...how can I save it as an element or true template where backgrounds can be dropped and embelishemnts added....any info would be GREATLY appriciated ! The hard work is already done - using quick shapes or guidelines for measurements, layout etc. and as long as I remember to save the new page with the new file name, I can go back to the original and start again. You could drop fills into your button circles and a background will drop into the background layer. Not sure if this is what you need but hope the ideas help. Annie ![]() |
| mjhHappy Scrapbooker Posts: 171 Mail user Ignore | 28/07 at 11:45pm Hi I would first change the paper size from scrapbook to 8.5x11.0. Then I would save the file with a name that lets me know it is a template. After that, I would do as elderflower (Annie) suggests. |
FluffHappy Scrapbooker![]() Posts: 18 Mail user Ignore | 29/07 at 5:30pm I hope I haven't misunderstood your question, but I would have thought a good way would be to make your button circles as frames and drop your artwork into the frames that way. |
| elderflowerHappy Scrapbooker Posts: 541 Mail user Ignore | 29/07 at 5:46pm That sounds a very good suggestion - I have to admit I hadn't thought of that one Annie ![]() |
