I think the issue right now is to spread the information that it´s very important to save CA2, this brilliant and ingenious software. Don´t forget to save it on an extern disc or usb memory or whatever. Kits can be bought on other sites.

Very good advice, Lilian! Don't forget that you will need your product key: you can't install the program without it.

Will the clips on Youtube remain? I use them from time to time but downloading them all in case I might need them seems a little extreme.

Wasn't there a patch update for CA2? which I assume we may need in future if changing PCs - where do we find that and save it??

Recover/Back-up your Legacy Range Product Keys

Updates & Patches
(Near the bottom of the page, with a choice of four 2.1.0 patches depending on whether you have a UK or a US installation and whether it's 64-bit or 32-bit.)

I've always thought CA2 could only be downloaded twice using the product key no., I have downloaded mine twice does that mean when I get a new computer I wont be able to input the CA2 CD? I may be able to save the kits on usb but what good is that if I cant use the CA2 CD?
