These are Sam's events. I will be over the six lines sorry but it wont happen again. Elvis got Married in May, Las Vegas was the perfect venue for the nuptials of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu they tied the knot on may 1st 1967..SPACED OUT. Alan Shepard did not get lost in space instead he flew the first manned space mission on may 5th 1961 thus restoring the party of the space race between the united States and the Soviet Union..The King is dead. Alexander the Great found that only the good die young. On May 8th 323 BC Alexander defeated Persia and conquered much of the known world before his death at the age of 32...... Off with her head...Anne Boleyn the second wife of England's King Henry V111 was also the second to die...she had the honour of being the first of his wives to die she was beheaded on May 15th 1536......Holy War....Ultimately named as a Saint... Joan of Arc took over the French Army and beat the tar out of the English....Jealous of her success the Burgundians treacherously gave her to the enemy where they burned her at the stake on May 30th 1431.... and just for the last bit May is the most unlucky month to get married....it's also a month for Spring Cleaning.xx

Good morning Mary... happy May Day! It's my sons birthday today, the weather was wild the day he was born, we had hail, rain and snow and it was freezing cold! It's probably the only day I remember what the weather was doing! It's hubbys birthday on the 3rd, he's not well at the moment, he has a swollen leg and as yet no diagnosis! Last week they thought it was a DVT... but no, so it's back to the doctors!
Have a lovely bank holiday Monday everyone! I'm off for cake and jelly later

Happy May Day everyone. I've just got up and was thinking I've got a few birthdays this month, but don't know anyone who got married in May and then remembered I did ! 😁Xx

Happy Anniversary to you both when it comes then. My late Mums middle name was May and she departed from this world in the month of May, so I can relate to your feelings Dollycathy. Happy Mayday everyone.
