Happy New Year ..It's the start of a new thread...I hope everyone will enjoy it...we are starting off with New Years Resolutions...Rosie has just started a Resolutions challenge so any pages that have already been entered can also be uploaded here to see what you come up with..if you don't wish to make pages then just tell us what your resolution is if you have one it is not compulsory...it's just a bit of fun.

Rosie and myself want to make this thread a happy one so anybody who has sad times or needs that extra bit of comfort please use Nannyannes thread..Sympathy and Support.....

We want to keep comments short as in the last thread some of us could not keep up with the longer comments....so short and sweet please.

This is your thread so please enjoy it....we will be coming up with a few things after the Resolutions......so for now enjoy yourselves...xx

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you all had wonderful celebrations.

I have no chance of keeping any of my resolutions this year, but I made them with all good intentions.

The one I would like to keep most is to stop worrying, but that is not going happen.

Just watched the London fireworks (which were fantastic) while on the phone with my Mum. That way we can still see in the New Year together. We were both in tears of course, but it was wonderful too.

Talk to you all later.

Happy New Year everyone! We stepped out to let the New Year in and found ourselves at a party for the next hour and a half. A brilliant start to the New Year! May you all have a lovely 2017. I don't do resolutions, the only lead to disappointment as far as I can see, I just rely on a bit of fun every now and then to get me through But I can recommend mindfulness (not the long winded variety, just the trick of breaking the cycle of thought) - I did a short course in it two summers ago, and it was the only thing that calmed me down in the first few weeks when I broke my knee, I just plugged in the iPod and stopped worrying for4 minutes at a time. That's as long as my posts are going to be! Love and hugs to you all, Hils

Happy New Year to everyone, I hope to see everyone Celebrating to their hearts content. It is a quiet time here for us so we will ring in the New Year with just a quiet toast!
I have just finished a page and I would like to load it to the thread. Not sure IF I can figure it out. I use to remember. My only resolution is to try as hard as I can to make this year a bit more positive. Have a great New Year to all.

Just like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank you so much for your friendship during 2016. Had a quiet night in with Family. Hope your celebrations went well and no one is suffering too much today.

Happy New Year everyone, we were tucked up in bed nursing our colds watching the fireworks through the window. there were some magnificent shows. Rather damp and drizzly here today but I must try and get a walk later, fresh air always bucks me up
We were lucky to spend Christmas with our son and family Today we are having our daughter and her husband round for a meal and not forgetting Eva the dog.
Whatever you do today ENJOY :
