I have not installed CA2 yet but tried to instal the Collections on the old programme and they don't. Is the right? I am nervous about popping in the new programme. |
JaydubbyaHappy Scrapbooker![]() Posts: 696 Mail user Ignore | 22/09/2012 at 4:29pm If you install CAP2 and for some reason don't like it, provided you haven't deleted the original Craft Artist Professional programme, you can still use that. Your digikits should be visible and usable in both programmes. So go for it! And have fun. xxx I don't know the answer about the brushes collection though. |
| elderflowerdedicated cardmaker Posts: 3108 Mail user Ignore | 22/09/2012 at 5:41pm Which collections - is this the Stamps and brushes. Have you told CA1 where to find them. I can't remember the path to the Stamps and brushes folder because I've moved them already, but look in C: Programs > Serif then possibly Craft Artist, Ah - just remembered - they might have gone into My Documents. Someone will probably correct me here. You could try a Windows search for *.pack files. Better still if you can give search a known (or part) name - *swirl*.pack. Find one and you should find the rest! |

And they show in CA1. However, from Startup Wizard, they won't show, bcz you need a layout in the digikit to show up there. If you click [Add Items From Digikit], you will see Banners and Dividers, Birds and Trees, etc. All 14 are separate digikits. Kat ![]() To check, mine seem to have installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Serif\CraftArtist\BrushStampCollection\Packs |
| beejeeHappy Scrapbooker Posts: 133 Mail user Ignore | brush collections 22/09/2012 at 8:34pm Sorry I have not made myself clear. These two collections will not load. I can get as far as the option where I wish to open the disc and there is just no response. I have loaded many discs and these do not do anything - any ideas. I have searched my computer without success just in case !! I dont want to load CA2 until I have sorted this. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| beejeeHappy Scrapbooker Posts: 133 Mail user Ignore | brush collections 22/09/2012 at 9:00pm Thank you for your patience. No they are not showing in the browser. The discs stop running when I try to click the option for choosing Craft Artist/Photoplus/etc and I am puzzled. |
k2004atverizonnetIt's cold again.![]() Posts: 2377 Mail user Ignore | 22/09/2012 at 10:16pm Hi, If installing isn't working, are you able to open the CDROM? To see the contents? If not, then maybe you could try another drive? Someone, I think, had a different problem, but found something wrong with her drive. If you can see, can you find: Serif_Stamps1\BrushesAndStamps_Collection1\CraftArtist? And try to install from there. Or grab the .pack files, and move them where you'd like. Kat ![]() |
