Digikits show up from "Add items from Digikit", but not from "Choose a template" from Startup Wizard

As far as I know, you can browse thru Digikits in these 2 ways. However all my Digikits (from DaisyTrail and elsewhere) seem to show up when I start from clicking "Add items from Digikit | Browse Digikits". But a number of them are missing when I start from "New from Startup Wizard | Choose a template". [I have added all Digikit locations under "Options | Digikit Locations".]

One thought is, is there a difference from copying packs directly into folders, and creating digikits from "Digikit Creator" ?

Thanks ahead of time,

Kat

I've always downloaded via the supplied installer - but what you say does sound quite reasonable. Maybe someone from Serif will be able to tell us!

I had a play with this before and I think it only shows the digikits which have layouts in them when your pick "Choose A Template". Hope this helps. Jane

Hi there, when you go to choose a template, you will only see digikits that have any of the corresponding templates within the kit. If you choose to start a blank page or template you can then add items etc from any digikit....

Sorry, it took me awhile to test through several digikits. But thanx to all! Cuz it seems to be working.

USING DSA2
Also like to mention, that after reading several people saying DSA2 is more stable, I went back to playing with it more, and I found that creating digikits are easier with DSA2, too. There are two buttons (instead of one) on the Digikit Creator screen that make it more clear if your going to see kits in Startup Wizard. And you have the Digikit Creator button right up there at the top of your workspace, instead of working your way through menus (since there is no shortcut).

Gracias,
Kat
