the other day i noticed that when i created a project in CAP it looked fine however when i uploaded it to Daisy Trail it lookrd very light and washed out ,i also printed it out @ 8x8 maximum dpi and again it was much lighter than it appeared in CAP.

Any one else noticed this ?

Is it something that could be included in future versions of CAP ?

Is there a workaround ?

any comments appreciated

Hi bizzybazza, I've not had this problem myself, but have noticed one or two users have, some have got round it by exporting page as jpg 300dpi slider to best quality and then bringing back to CAP via photo tab, then upload it..
My monitor is a 22" Samsung SyncMaster calibrated using windows colour calibration what I see on screen is printed and uploaded the same colour as is......

Agreed with Eifion. It does mean you have the option to darken the exported picture, slightly, if you need to. It's thought to be a "deepzoom" problem and is often mentioned and has been looked into, but in reality, I think we tend to start working around it. Whether altering you monitor would compensate.....?

after printing out some of my "creations" i find that my printer acts just like daisy trail so ive started deepening a faded background a bit more than id like so then it displays and prints as it should ....another one for serif to look at

It could just be your printer. I find my old printer(Kodak ESP7) would print my pictures darker than my screen. I have an Epson Artisan 710 now and they print out perfectly. Never calibrated my monitor either.
