Take a piece of material (might be best to give yourself a background colour at this stage so that you can see what your doing) 2. Click to select the material - then go through format, click filter effect (or right click on the mouse on the material and go down to filter effect) 3. In 3D effect (blur: 96.93 pt and Depth the same) 4. Reflection Map (Opacity 100, scale 100, rotation, 0) Select pattern (indoor Environments) Select say bottom of the selection second row up second one in from the right) click OK 5. Transparency (min 20, Max 60) 6. 3D lighting (diffuse 100, specular 50, shininess 80, colour white) Light properties 20 (light white) Point light 1, Angle 180, elevation 45, colour white, Soften 0 Tick scale with object (just keep changing Reflection Map patterns to change colour etc) Once you have done the above you to can cut shapes out of the material/glass |

In Colour fill select white (Opacity: 100, Blend: Normal) 4. 2D Bump map - (Depth 100, Scale 100, X curvature 50, y 50 (tick scale with object) In pattern - select a pattern 5. In Reflection Map - (Blend Mode should be normal, Opacity 100, Scale, 100 rotation 0) In select pattern - select indoor environment, go down to the bottom and select the one of the left (this should give you metal) 6. Click Transparency (min 20, max 90) and that should give you silver (try selecting other patterns in 2D bump Map ) |

I was having trouble flipping back and forth between my work and this forum and then thought to copy the instructions, make a new large text box layer in DSA and pasted Then I had the instructions right in front of me. When I had my glass right I deleted the text layer. I hope that helps some one else |
