I would love to do this, does anyone know how to do this with CA Professional? Desperate to know how!! Thanks |

Forever CraftingHappy Scrapbooker![]() Posts: 20 Mail user Ignore | Working with Silhouette 15/03/2012 at 11:05pm Try following this, I have used it with some of the items in my digi-kits but find it easier to take the background out using my craft artist. Bringing art work into Silhouette (this also works if bringing art work in from the internet etc) save art work as png file Open in silhouette Resize Select Open trace window (3rd icon in second box from right) Select the trace area Unselect the High Pass Filter Increase the threshold Move the art work away from the outline Copy and paste the outline Move the second outline Replace the artwork back into the first outline Select the area so as to select the first outline and the artwork Go to the Object menu on the left - modify – crop to remove the outer background Select the art work and holding down shift select the 2nd outline (both are selected) Go to the align icon (4rd icon in3rd box from right) and click centralise (placing the artwork in the outline) While both are selected right click and select group |
