Hi All, I am a complete novice to digital crafting although I have been making greetings cards for a few years. I have been asked to make wedding invitations and all the associated stationery for a member of the family who is getting married later this year and wanted to know if I need the Craft Artist professional as well as the wedding day. I downloaded the free compact version and had a play with it and came up with a lovely card for my great nephew so I can't wait to try the wedding ones.
Sorry if I sound a bit stupid but it is all so new to me.

Hi there Jean and a warm welcome to Daisytrail

The 'Wedding Day' software includes CraftArtist 'standard' version which should suit your needs perfectly well (you don't need the free version installed on your PC!).....there are a few functions that the 'Professional' version of CA has over the 'Standard' one but you don't need them to make your wedding stationery.
