| jminton59Happy AZ Scrapbooker Posts: 40 Mail user Ignore | Info on links 22/01/2012 at 2:24pm Thank you so much for compiling this list. It is fantastic and is greatly appreciated. I tried to go to #2 and #3 on the list by Rodders and could not get the tuts to open. It may be something with my PC or the links may be broken. Also, regarding #16, the puzzle template, the actual template link seems to be broken. It may not be available any longer. I left a comment where the template was offered hoping the link might be reinstated. Thank you all so much. |

They're PDF files, which may or may not try to open in your browser (depending on your settings). If you can't persuade your browser to cooperate, right-click on the link and choose 'Save Target As...' or similar, and then open the downloaded file in your PDF viewer. Alfred |

| nannyanne Moderator May..give it your best!![]() Posts: 15150 Mail user Ignore | 22/01/2012 at 9:56pm Oh No......??!!! I have just seen the VERY depleted tutorial list I have to say folks that this is not the first time that a post created by myself has been 'tampered! with...be it accidentally or otherwise. I have asked Daisytrail to actually have a record of any edits made to posts etc. by Moderators (and hopefully a way of reversing actions as well) at present there is no way of accounting for any Moderator actions. As I am away on holiday at the moment I'm afraid I don't have the time or resources to try and reinstate the missing tutorials.....all I can say is sorry for the inconvenience! Anne |
| sunset Moderator Enjoying!![]() Posts: 49410 Mail user Ignore | 22/01/2012 at 10:51pm I've been asking for the same thing, Anne, for over 12 months - late edits to (and deletion of)posts should be traceable. Off soap box. Hils |

If one of the Moderators or Community Managers has a valid reason to remove all or part of a forum thread, I would expect them to send a PM or email explaining to the member(s) concerned why such action has been taken (unless it's something obvious like spammed advertising). It's quite possible, of course, that the site is playing up. A few days ago there were a couple of occasions when my 'Inbox' link indicated that I had a new message in a PM thread, but when I clicked through to read it there was nothing there. Alfred |
| jminton59Happy AZ Scrapbooker Posts: 40 Mail user Ignore | 23/01/2012 at 1:41am Oh, Alfred, you were absolutely correct. I should have thought of that. I just save the file to my PC and it opened as promised. Thank you for your time in checking it. ![]() ![]() |

The sooner MOD actions are recorded the better... Quite bizar that something as useful as this list has been tampered with!!! |
