Mischief awaits with DaisyTrail's Naughty Elf!Posted: 30th November 2016 Category: DaisyTrail News By: jess serif
The countdown to Christmas has begun, and it appears the DaisyTrail office has acquired a new team member – a naughty Elf!
This pesky chap has been messing up our desks, swapping our sugar for salt, and running off with our mince pies! All this mayhem has given us an idea for a challenge…
** The Naughty Elf **
First things first... Download your Naughty Elf here!
The challenge is to capture the Naughty Elf up to some mischief around the home. He could be running off with the presents from under the tree, making a mess in the kitchen, or simply hiding, lying in wait ready to make someone jump. To help you on your way, we’ve provided you with the Naughty Elf image.
Louise has been busy crafting with our elf already... he's tied poor teddy to a lamp post!
- Your entry must include the Naughty Elf image.
- Any size page setup can be used and any digikits of your choice. (If adding photos please make sure you have permission to use them.)
- Once you have finished your page upload it to DaisyTrail, click 'Share this Project' (to the right of your page) and then select The Naughty Christmas Elf from the Challenge Drop Down Menu. Finally click 'Enter Challenge'.
- You can enter the competitions as many times as you like! - Simply add your additional entries to the forum thread!
There will be no overall challenge winner, but every day from the 1st December to the 24th we will be picking a different entry to be our featured page for the day.
Have lots of fun!
A brand new free digikit, and a challenge!Posted: 2nd November 2016 Category: DaisyTrail News By: Sarah Attenborough
Good afternoon everyone.
We’re so pleased to be able to share with you this brand new free digikit from one of our talented DaisyTrail designers.
Painted Poppies has been created in honour of fallen service men and women, and we couldn't be more delighted with the finished kit. We hope you like it too.
To mark the new release, and with Armistice Day rapidly approaching, we have a new challenge for you using Painted Poppies, which you can install from here:
Painted Poppies Digikit
If you have the latest patch installed, you can simply double click on the .pack file to automatically copy the file to your “my digikits”. If you’re using an older version of CraftArtist or using our free compact version, you’ll need to simply save the file in your “My Digikits” folder.
The challenge is to create a page to remember the fallen service men and women, killed in conflict. Whether it be WW1, WW2, or our modern-day heroes, we want to see them honoured, using the Painted Poppies digikit.
You can submit your entry on the challenge page, and when it closes we'll be compiling a slideshow to commemorate all our fallen heroes, which will be showcased on the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, of the eleventh month.
- Pages must be a 12 x 12 scrap page
- Entries must be uploaded before 5pm on Wednesday 9th November
There won't be any winner of this challenge, instead it's a collaborative project from all our DaisyTrail members.
To enter the challenge simply click here.
