Using CraftArtist to make and sell digikitsPosted: 27th November 2015 Category: DaisyTrail News By: jogaskin
We have been asked to clarify the ways in which CraftArtist can be used with regards to making and selling your own digikits.
In general, you are permitted to use the software to make your own content to sell. So for example, you can use the shapes and tools within the software to create items, export them as images and sell them on your website (as ZIP files of images or individual images).
You can also create .pack files using the Digikit Creator and distribute them for free with friends & family.
You are not, however, permitted to sell content in the form of .pack files, or to use any content you have bought or downloaded for free from DaisyTrail to make kits to sell. As you know, when you purchase the software and digikits you are required to accept a license agreement which specifies the ways in which the software can be used. These terms are clearly specified within the License Agreement.
If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

Here's a video preview of the kits -
And here's some samples made using them:

Quick Tip Tuesday: Changing part of an image's colourPosted: 17th November 2015 Category: How to's, Tools & Techniques By: jogaskin
It's time for a Quick Tip Tuesday.
Today's will show you how to change the colour of embellishments, papers, photos - pretty much anything that's an image in CraftArtist. It also shows you how to change just one section of an image's colour (for example, just changing the colour of a jumper, but not the whole person).
Hope you like it!
More videos to come in the next few weeks!
Personalising your winter snow globesPosted: 11th November 2015 Category: Create your own projects, How to's By: jogaskin
Last week we posted this video on how to create your own snow globes using our new digikit, Winter Snow Globes:
We were so pleased to see Nannyanne's comments on the forum that she had made most of her Christmas cards using the kit, so we thought you might like to see them! So here's one of Anne's fabulous cards - featuring a painting of their cottage in the centre of the globe, plus some snow and a couple of other embellishments. We hope you like them as much as we do!
Has anyone else been crafting with our new Christmas kits? We'd love to see your creations! Send them to email@example.com.
